Ingredients

Sauce

½ cup Soy Sauce
2 Garlic Minced
½ cup Brown Sugar
¼ Pineapple Juice
1tbsp Cornstarch & Water

For the Skewers

NEXT! Chick*n Chunks
Capsicum
Onion
Pineapple

Method

  1. Combine the soy sauce, minced garlic, brown sugar and pineapple juice in a pan on the stove. Medium heat, allow to simmer gently.

  2. Mix the cornstarch and cold-room temp water in a small bowl, then pour into the sauce while it is simmering. Stir continuously until the mixture thickens.

  3. Remove the sauce from heat and add chick*n chunks while the mixture is still hot, coating the chick*n well.

  4. Allow chick*n and sauce mixture to cool while you prepare the rest of the skewer ingredients (the longer the better).

  5. Chop the onion, capsicum and pineapple to desired sizes to fit the skewers.

  6. Add all the ingredients to the skewers in whatever order preferred. Leave space either side of each skewer to enable you to lift them off the grill.

  7. Grill until all ingredients are as you like them
