Sweet & Sour Chick*n
This delicious sweet and sour sauce coats the Chick*n chunks so well, it’s even better than the takeaway version! It’s the kind of dish that leaves you wanting more. Try complimenting it with a bowl of sticky rice, yum yum!
Ingredients

2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
1 Tsp Garlic Powder
⅓ Cornstarch
¼ Cup Vegetable Oil
The Sauce
½ Cup Brown Sugar
1 Tsp Garlic Powder
½ Ketchup
¼ Cup Vinegar
¼ Cup Water
The dish
2 Mixed Capsicum (chopped)
1 Red Onion (diced)
½ Pineapple
Method
Mix the NEXT! Chick*n Style Chunks; soy sauce; garlic powder, and cornstarch together in a bowl.
In a pre-heated frying pan, fry the Chick*n chunks in pil, on a medium heat until golden and crispy. Remove from pan and set aside on paper towels to drain.
Whisk together the brown sugar; garlic powder; ketchup; vinegar, and water in a bowl.
In a pre-heated wok or large pan, begin to fry the capsicum, onion and pineapple. Add the sauce and the chick*n once onions are fully sweated (translucent appearance).
Cook thoroughly until the sauce has become thick and of a sticky consistency.
