Ingredients

The Chick*n
2 cups Flour
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Cayenne Powder
1 cup Almond Milk
1 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
NEXT! Chick*n Chunks

The Waffles
1.5 cup Almond Milk
1 tbsp Maple Syrup
2 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
2 cups Flour
1 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Baking Powder
1 tbsp Brown Sugar
¼ Coconut Oil

NEXT! Bac*n Style Strips

Method:

  1. Create the waffle mixture by mixing the almond milk, maple syrup and vinegar in a bowl.

  2. In a separate bowl, mix the flour; salt; baking powder; brown sugar, and coconut oil.

  3. Pour the wet waffle mixture into the dry mixture, mixing together well. Leave until Chick*n is prepared, then bake in waffle maker.

  4. For the Chick*n, mix together in a bowl the flour; garlic powder; cayenne powder and salt and pepper to taste.

  5. In a second bowl, mix together the almond milk and vinegar. Leave to stand for five minutes.

  6. Fully coat the NEXT! Chick*n Style Chunks, first in the flour mixture; then in the milk mixture, and finally back into the flour mixture.

  7. In a preheated pan, fry the chick*n pieces until crispy and golden (the deeper the oil the faster and easier this process will be). Remove from the heat and leave to drain on a paper towel.

  8. In a separate frying pan, fry the NEXT! Bac*n Style Strips until crispy. Remove from heat and leave to drain on a paper towel.

  9. Serve together with a side of maple syrup for a drizzle of flavour.
